This painting was inspired by the same paddling to trip
that inspired
"Daydream", and was selected for the Top 100 Paintings of 1996
in the Arts for the Parks competition that year. The annual competition
is sponsored by the National Park Academy for the Arts and the Top 100 Paintings
tour galleries around the country for a year after selection. "Summer
