“Low Tide, Zanzibar”
The "ngalawa" is a traditional sailing vessel used by fishermen of Zanzibar. Here one rests on the beach at Chumbe Island, a private reserve and marine protected area just off the coast of Zanzibar, and it was a constant inspiration to me during the week I spent there.
